‘The Future of Banking and Finance-Preparing the Next Generation’ and the presentation will be delivered by Mr. Siomon Dixon who is the head of training at Benedix Group Ltd. Our presentation will help you to find out about the following information:

(2) How is money created and how is that relevant to the crisis?
(3) Why does our economy boom and bust?
(4) Why are we in debt and how does that related to banking and finance?
(5) What is happening now in the financial crisis?

You might notice that the content of this presentation will cover lots of background knowledge which might help you with your current assignment of International Finance &Accounting, so I strongly recommend you to attend this event and gain an insight view about the causes of current financial crisis and find out whether the global or local governance has played an adequate role in avoiding this financial crisis and ensuring an efficient international financial system. Beyond this benefit, this event will also give you a good chance to explore the potential solutions for the current financial crisis and find out how to secure a decent job during financial crisis.

His experience as an economist, stock broker, market making, trader and corporate financier has allowed him to pass on his expert knowledge onto students who have the drive to succeed in finance sector. Business Plan CompetitionWe are pleased to announce that the launch of ‘Lion’s Den’ - a £10,000 graduate business plan competition on Wednesday 15 October was well attended and included a lively panel discussion followed by a very busy networking session at the large Somerset Room, Strand.

The word is out that SEI investments are coming to the Waterloo Campus on Thursday 9th October, 5pm looking to recruit final year students in the Franklin-Wilkins Building Conservatory.

Many of the SEI investment staff are previous King’s Alumni, and will be attending - this is a fantastic opportunity to network with them. Zara Humayun, who just finished her BSc in Management attended a similar presentation last year and now works for them.

KCLBC had phenominal success during Fresher’s week with over 800 members signing up, making it the largest club/society at King’s College London University (and also the newest). Atleast 40% of members come from a non-management background demonstrating that KCLBC is open to everyone, including postgrads and alumni.
