The King’s College London Business Club would like to invite you to attend our MiniBar event on FRIDAY 21st NOVEMBER.

MiniBar is London’s biggest web start up community with over 1700 members bringing together each month over 300 web entrepreneurs, developers and investors, and KCLBC is working in partnership with them for this event.

This event will give you the opportunity to hear success stories from BBC 2’s ‘The Last Millionaire’, Carl Pihl, a King’s College Alumni, Jay Bregman of Ecourier and Lars Lindstedt of Microsoft. You will also get the chance to network with our corporate partners and get some great advice from industry experts including representatives from Google and Bebo.

The MiniBar event will be hosted at King’s for the first time this Friday, the 21st of November 2008 at the Waterfront bar, Strand Campus at 6pm.

Also: There will be some graduate recruiters from some firms including Merrill Lynch, E&Y, IBM, and possibly McKinsey & Company, BCG, Bain, 3i andGoldman Sachs

We are hosting a series of events geared to get you jobs and internships in this difficult climate where you need to stand out!
 
1) HELP WITH YOUR APPLICATIONS FOR TOP CITY JOBS & INTERNSHIPS: - TUESDAY 11 NOVEMBER 08, Strand Campus, room K0.16 South Range. (5PM-6PM - best come early!)
 
Some deadlines have already passed, many are approaching and time is running out! This workshop will walk you through those tricky questions on the application forms for top banking and consultancy jobs and internships.
 
This Workshop has limited capacity of about 40 people and we expect it to be packed, it will be first come first served - so attend early as the stuff you learn here may decide your future career and give you a headstart. T The event is event is hosted exclusively for KCLBC members in conjunction with the Careers Group.
